My Porfolio. I wanted something small, compact, easy on the eye and straight to the point. This is a temporary page, giving me more time to work on upcoming work and projects. Although only temporary, creating this website, has taught me alot. Including the use of jQuery, implementing and tweaking plugins to fit the need.
Website created for Alex Day, a local photographer and friend. He wanted a portfolio for his photos, and a way for people to contact him. Although this was given to me with a tight deadline, this was my first attempt at using Wordpress, chosen for the ease to update. A bespoke template was designed between the two of us, and with the use of simple and effective plugins, we achieved what we had set out to do.
Psdontforgetyourlipstick.co.uk is a fashion, makeup and personal blog. There was no other option for me, I had to use wordpress. The design was already chosen by the client, who had what they wanted set in their mind. With these designs as a rough guide, I created what was wanted, a minimalistic blog with added image gallery.
Mkscarpentry.co.uk is simply a website for a carpentry buisness. Given a very basic brief, I was to design and create a simple website, with a gallery of work, testimonials, etc. After designing a few ideas, this template stood out a mile from the rest. This project got me learning the basics of SEO, and putting that into practise.
